Job Opportunity: Library Shelver

The Bronxville Public Library is looking for a library shelver to work in our Youth Services department

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Shelving library materials and straightening shelves, using the Dewey decimal system
• Helping to maintain the general good order of the library & assisting librarians as needed
• This job requires considerable kneeling, bending, reaching high and low.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Strong alphabetizing and numerical skills required.
• Hours include working weekdays after school and weekends
• This is a part time job between 4-10 hours per week
• Minimum age: 15 years old with valid working papers
