The LENAPE: Demonstration of Hudson Valley Indigenous Peoples life & technologies

Barry Keegan will demonstrate life and technology of the Native American people who first began living in the Hudson Valley about 12,000 years ago. He will engage the audience with hands-on activities such as arrowheads, twine, stone tools, bows, arrows, fish and animal traps and spears, clothing, boats and more.
This program is part of the Revolutionary Westchester 250 – Living History to Go- it is funded by the Westchester Library System to build public awareness and appreciation for Westchester County’s Revolutionary War history.
All Ages Welcomed.
*This presentation will take place on the Bronxville Library Lawn. In the case of inclement weather, presentation will be moved into our performance space.
