This program will take place in person in the Yeager Community Room located on the lower level of the Library.
A Navy veteran who attended the U.S. Naval Academy, Robert Abate has spent much of the past 20 years interviewing dozens of Lower Hudson Valley residents who fought in World War II, collecting their oral histories on more than 200 hours of tape recordings and hundreds of pages of transcripts. Come hear Bob talk about ordinary heroes that were at infamous battles from Pearl Harbor to Tokyo Bay.
