Sew a Tote Bag

Learn to machine sew a colorful and unique tote bag that can be used in our everyday life under the instruction of experienced sewers, Gwen Jackson and Doris Sutton of the Art C Obsession Studio.
Adult Confident Beginner sewers are welcome.
The student will learn the basic of how to use a sewing machine to make this bag.
Each Student will receive a unique pre-cut kit with the materials to sew this versatile colorful bag.
Due to time restraints Some sewing machine experience is helpful, but confident beginners are welcome to sign up for this class.
Class size is limited the library system supplies 6 sewing machines. For those with their own Sewing machine in clean and well-working condition we can add (4) more students with a maximum of 10 student per day. There will be instruction of basic sewing techniques and care of the machine.
Advance registration is needed: stop by or call the Adult Reference Desk and sign up for ONE of the following dates October 17 from 2- 5 PM or Tuesday October 18, 2022, from 2 -5 PM.
