It has been said that Joe DiMaggio and Frank Sinatra probably did more than anyone else of their time to bring Italian-Americans into the mainstream of their country’s popular culture during the 1930s and 1940s. Since then, there have been thousands of Italian-Americans who flourished in America. Baseball players, actors, singers who in some cases changed American culture. Join us as speaker Evan Weiner tells us about these influential figures.
