Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with this Chinese Calligraphy Workshop! The Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional event that brings families together to exchange presents and enjoy a sense of togetherness. Discover the art of written Chinese calligraphy and add artistic beauty to the occasion. This workshop welcomes participants of all skill levels, so immerse yourself in the essence of traditional Chinese calligraphy and bring elegance to your Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations.
We invite adults to a virtual workshop on Chinese Calligraphy. Join a San Francisco-based Chinese calligraphy artist Jojo Liu, an art instructor at Pacific Art League, in this time-honored artistic tradition. Whether you’re a beginner or have experience, you will learn how to hold the brush, master basic strokes, and create calligraphic artwork. She will virtually demonstrate the brush strokes and materials will be supplied in person for you to follow along.
Materials will be supplied for in-library use only.
