Bronxville’s World War II: Service Abroad and at Home During the Greatest War
Monday, November 7 | 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm | add to Google Calendar
This program will take place in person in the Yeager Community Room located on the lower level of the Library.
World War II has slipped away far into the past. It’s an old story now, but it’s as fresh and exciting and moving as ever. At the center of the war’s story are the experiences of all the people who served in the war—including about 1,400 from Bronxville.
This program recalls the wartime service of twenty-two men and women from Bronxville. Some were soldiers, some were sailors, one was a cryptanalyst. All had amazing wartime experiences, and you are invited to join in remembering them.
Presented by Bronxville Village Historian Raymond Geselbracht.
