Adult Book Discussion Group

Tuesday, January 17 | 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm | add to Google Calendar

This month we will discuss “Beneath a Scarlet Sky” by Mark Sullivan, a novel based on the true story of forgotten war hero Pino Lella. When his family home in Milan is destroyed by Allied bombs, Pino joins an underground railroad helping Jews escape over the Alps. In an attempt to protect him, Pino’s parents force him to enlist as a German soldier.

This discussion will take place in person in the Board Room located on the lower level of the Library and will be led by Mary Hogan Camp.

To join the discussion, email maryhogancamp@gmail.com
