New York City is one of the world’s great meccas for Art.  Several art movements began here, many artists have chosen to make the City their home, and artists from all over want to exhibit their art here in one of our great museums or numerous galleries.  In this presentation you will learn such things as: how did the Ashcan School gets its name, why Diego Rivera’s masterpiece at Rockefeller Center got destroyed, who was the first supermodel that posed nude for many sculptors, how art is displayed on Harlem storefronts, why Salvador Dali had a tantrum over one of his creations, and many other interesting things.  If you always wanted to be an artist or just love art, you will enjoy this presentation.

Presented by Art and Susan Zuckerman.
