Starting August 1, 2026, Libby and OverDrive users whose accounts have expired will no longer be able to check out or place holds in their Libby accounts.
If you’ve been checking books and materials out from the library, no worries! Library staff have kept your account up to date.
If you only use digital resources, you may need to update your card. Contact your library to make sure you don’t lose access to Libby ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines!
You can also check your card status online: From a web browser, log into the catalog. In the Your Account menu, click on the Your Library Card link to see your card’s expiration date.
If the date is on or before August 1, 2026, reach out to your library to renew your card.
