This month’s topic is, “How Fraudsters are Getting Smarter and the Important Facts about Social Security.” We will share the newest scams and identity theft tactics of fraudsters. We’ll discuss how it can occur, how to spot it and how to protect yourself. We will review critical social security factors: claiming benefits, incorporating benefits and uncertainty into your retirement plan, and considering issues that change over time.

Previously, Cathy was a trust officer with Chemical Bank in New York for 16 years. Cathy has a BS in Marketing and an MBA in Finance from St. John’s University. She is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Westchester County, the Fairfield County Estate Planning Council and the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils.
