A discussion with Daisy Khan, media commentator, speaker, and editor of a new collection of essays titled, “WiseUp: Knowledge Ends Extremism.”  In a spirited Q&A, Ms. Khan will cut through media distortions and present the facts about Islam, extremism, American-Muslims’ fight against terrorism, and the work of her Muslim women’s peace-building organization.  Come prepared with your own questions.  Sponsored by a Westchester chapter of the Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom, a national group of Muslim and Jewish women working together for social justice.
