Tuesday, April 9 | 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Florence, April 26, 1478: During High Mass in the cathedral, one of the most celebrated plots of all-time occurred: the Pazzi conspiracy to overthrow the great Medici rulers and assume the political supremacy of Florence.
Cosimo de Pazzi, a longtime resident of Bronxville and a descendant of the noble Pazzi family, will speak about this historical conspiracy. Drawing on the Pazzi family archives, historic documents and publications he will guide us through the political background and intrigue of these dramatic events.
This event is brought to you through collaboration with Gramatan Village and The Bronxville Public library.
