Author Talk & Book Signing
Tuesday, September 10 | 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Join author, Pamela Hull as she discusses her book, Say Yes! Flying Solo After Sixty.
What happens when, long-partnered and no longer youthful, we are suddenly left alone and uncoupled? Here is a book that embraces the will, the spirit of such a challenge. Here are stories of how to imbue our later years with heft, meaning and delight, self-renewal thick with surprise and discovery. Say Yes! Is neither guide nor manual. Rather, it is the narrator’s intimate recounting of loss and aloneness. But also possibilities for a thrilling, reconfigured reality, applicable to men and women of all ages, an abundance of bountiful awakenings for wishful readers who may become heartened and emboldened. Join us as Pamela Hull discusses how neither age nor being alone is an impediment to living a rich life.
Books will be available for purchase and signing.
An interior designer and painter, Pamela Hull wrote her first book, Where’s My Bride? at age sixty. This venture was to be a one-time effort, a tribute to a remarkable man and marriage. However, as the endeavor unfurled, she unearthed a deep love for narrative writing. Ms. Hull’s essays and poetry have been widely published in literary journals such as The Bellevue Literary Review, Arts Medica, Lumina, Blood and Thunder, and North Dakota Quarterly. Her latest book is called, Moments that Mattered.
